# Credit Policy

> How credits roll over, expire, and are spent

* **Rollover:** unused credits carry over. Renewals and purchases add credits
  without resetting your balance or extending older credits.
* **Expiry:** all grants, including trial credits, expire twelve calendar months
  after their original grant or invoice entitlement time, in UTC. Only unused
  credits expire.
* **Spending:** credits expiring soonest are used first.
