# Pricing

> Monthly API plans, job credit costs, and top-ups

## Monthly plans

Choose a monthly credit allowance based on your usage. All prices are in USD,
billed monthly. Every plan includes standard searches and historical data
**back to 2020**.

Standard and historical searches use **one shared credit balance**. The maximum
job counts above are alternative uses of the full allowance, not separate
allowances. For example, 5,000 credits can cover 3,000 new standard jobs and
1,000 new historical jobs.

## Credit costs

The historical rate applies to all accounts, including existing subscribers.
If the complete new-job result costs more than your available balance, the
search returns `402` without delivering or charging for those jobs.

## Top-ups

Paid plans support additional credit purchases. Buy **500–100,000 credits** per
purchase in increments of **100 credits**. Your plan determines the rate, unless
your account has a custom rate. Review the total shown in Billing before
confirming a purchase.

## Existing subscriptions

Existing subscribers retain their current subscription price, credit allowance,
and top-up rate unless they choose and confirm a different plan. The new plans
listed above are monthly only.

Changing or cancelling a subscription does not remove unexpired paid credits.
Unused credits roll over and expire twelve calendar months after their original
grant or invoice entitlement time. New purchases and renewals do not extend
